It is exciting to look back over the past 18 months and remember so many beautiful properties that were listed and purchased through our company. While the last 2 years were fraught with uncertainty, our agents responded with great care to the guidelines needed to be extremely cautious while continuing our business. And, much to our relief, the housing market in Austin reflected what has been felt in major cities throughout the country: strength. Even with new construction, demand is still outpacing supply, due in no small part to continued job creation and the influx of newcomers to serve these roles. Overall, it is with a sense of gratitude that we reflect on the immediate past. We overcame loss and navigated through difficult situations, but we did so together. Not just as a company, but as a community. A group of hopeful, principled, and committed doers. And this year, we recognize that we have been doing just that for the last 35 years. We have weathered historical events, and incredible economic shifts, and have also been lucky to revel in so many day-to-day joys over the last 3+ decades. So, while we celebrate this milestone more quietly than we may have done were it not for a global pandemic, our sentiment remains the same.
