With October being national breast cancer awareness month, below are a few organizations to get involved with if you’re interested in volunteering or donating. We’re also sharing two outstanding Austin groups for women recovering from breast cancer and an exciting annual fundraiser that you won’t want to miss next summer.

Mission: Working to save lives by meeting the most critical needs in our communities and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer.
Breast Cancer Research Foundation
Mission: To prevent and cure breast cancer by advancing the world's most promising research.
Breast Cancer Prevention Partners (formerly Breast Cancer Fund)
Mission: Working to prevent breast cancer by eliminating exposure to toxic chemicals and radiation linked to the disease.
Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation
Mission: To support the understanding, research, and treatment of breast cancer in partnership with Chicago’s Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University.
Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation
Mission: To drive collaborative cutting-edge research with nontraditional partners, bring to light the collateral damage of treatment and seek ways to diminish it, and interpret science to empower patients.
