While single-family home sales have increased in Central Texas during the first half of 2019, we’re seeing a slight decrease in sales in the Downtown Austin area according to ABOR’s Midyear Central Texas Housing Market Report. While the market tends to see a small decrease in sales every so often, this six-month-long decrease could indicate a larger trend. Because Austin housing is in such high demand, the greater metropolitan area of Austin-Round Rock is reaping the benefits of new movers.
