We Heart Dads at Blue Owl Brewing
Blue Owl Brewing is a sour brewery founded in 2015 to make sour beers approachable yet unique. This year, on June 19th the brewery is having a We Heart Dads Day where you can visit their tasting room. Even better, your dad's tasting experience is on the house!

Father's Day Flyer on Historic Steam Train
Is your dad a history buff? Then he may enjoy celebrating the day with a 44-mile round-trip excursion on a historic steam train. The Austin Steam Train Association’s vintage train cars are from the golden era of rail travel, built in the '30s, '40s, and '50s, and fully restored for your enjoyment. On board the train, your 44-mile journey spans the South San Gabriel River and stops for a 15-minute layover at their historic 1912 Bertram Depot. Enjoy views of Short Creek Canyon, the 300-foot-long wooden trestle bridge over the South San Gabriel, and the Duffy-Shamrock communications mast, which is one of the tallest structures in the world. For this event, beer and wine will be sold in their Cedar Park car.

Father’s Day Concert at Zilker Hillside Theater
The Austin Symphonic Band presents “American Visions,” under the baton of Dr. Brett A. Richardson. ASB celebrates Dads of all kinds with this annual concert at the Zilker Hillside Theater. Enjoy a variety of marches, patriotic melodies, and other cheerful concert band works that Dad is sure to love. This event is free and open to the public, so bring a blanket, and some snacks and get there early for a good seat.

Father's Day BBQ, Bourbon, and Burgers at Fareground
This Father's Day weekend, treat Dad at Fareground with grilling, bourbon & whiskey tastings, and burgers. The event is free, but you can still register to secure a spot!
When: Saturday, June 18th | 12pm - 4pm

Rough Hollow Father's Field Fun Day
Join Rough Hollow in Lakeway as they celebrate Dad through a variety of fun obstacle courses, games, drinks, and more. This event at the Rough Hollow Welcome Center Field will include interactive activities to watch, play, and experience together. Warm-up begins at 9:30 am and the field day begins at 10:00 AM with food and water provided for all participants. Tickets will not be sold at the door so if you’re interested, be sure to purchase them ahead of time.
