Austin Symphony H-E-B July 4th Concert & Fireworks
One of the biggest celebrations in the city is the Austin Symphony H-E-B July 4th Concert & Fireworks display which includes patriotic music by the Austin Symphony with a grand finale fireworks display over Lady Bird Lake. The symphony will be performing at the Long Center for Performing Arts at 8pm on July 4th. This event is completely free and you can witness the breathtaking display from the Long Center or from the South First Street Bridge. Be sure to get there early for a good spot.The display can also be viewed from Congress Bridge and Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge.

Hill Country Independence Day Festival
For some daytime fun, check out the Hill Country Independence Day Festival which features over 60 vendors, rides for the whole family, water games, face painting, and a firework display at the end of the night to top it all off. The event is free to the public and you’re encouraged to bring your own chairs and blankets while you listen to live music and enjoy the fireworks.
4th of July Celebration in Lakeway
This is a multiple day celebration that starts off on Friday with the Rhythm & Reels event which will feature live music, a movie, and yummy snacks. Monday is when the real fun starts. You and the family will be able to enjoy the parade, munch on hot dogs provided by HEB at the Lakeway Activity Center, listen to live music, play games, or go for a swim. Don’t forget to turn your eyes to the sky at 9 AM for a special military flyover on Lakeway Drive near Cross Creek Road!

Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic and Fireworks
The new Q2 stadium will be hosting a 4th of July extravaganza for the first time ever this year. Willie Nelson’s annual 4th of July Picnic celebration is a tradition in the city, so be sure to get your tickets now before they are sold out. The lineup this year includes country all-stars like Charley Crocket, Tyler Childers, Midland, and Willie Nelson himself. The fireworks display will act as the finale to all the amazing performances.
