Songs Under The Stars Summer Concert Series:
WEEK 7 & 8: 80s Dance Party
Location: The People’s Plaza at ZACH
Dates: August 5th–8th
ZACH Theatre announces the Summer Concert Series for 2021 “Songs Under the Stars” running June 10 through August 8, 2021. This weekly socially distanced outdoor concert will feature 4 concerts over 8 weekends running Thursdays through Sundays.
Austin PRIDE Parade
Location: Fiesta Gardens
Dates: August 15th
The 2020 Austin PRIDE Festival and Parade will take over Austin at Fiesta Gardens. With over 400,000 attendings in 2019, this year will be even bigger. You have come to expect amazing entertainment from Austin PRIDE and this year will be no exception!
Zilker Summer Musicals
Location: Hill Country Galleria
Dates: August 1st - August 14th
Stop by the Hill Country Galleria for a pop-up performance of “Little Shop Of Horrors.” This free event will run every Thursday to Sunday starting August 1st. Pack a blanket, some snacks, and enjoy some greenery bent on world domination.
Outlaw Music Festival
Location: Germania Insurance Amphitheatre
Dates: August 22nd
Willie Nelson, Blackbird Presents, Live Nation, and the Outlaw Music Festival Tour are thrilled to be back on the road again. Willie will once again be live and in concert with his family and friends, including Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, The Avett Brothers, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Gov’t Mule, Lucinda Williams, Ryan Bingham, Margo Price, Yola, Kathleen Edwards, Ida Mae, and more as part of the 14-stop tour starting this summer
16th Annual Batfest
Location: Congress Ave Bridge
Dates: August 28th (4PM-Midnight)
What will you see at Bat Fest this year? 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bats emerging from under the bridge at dusk, 2 stages with live music, more than 50 arts & crafts vendors, delicious food and drinks, fun children’s activities, a bat costume contest, and other bat-related fun for the whole family.
