3M Half Marathon
Location: Downtown Austin

Join more than 7,500 fellow runners in Austin, Texas, to run a personal best at the 3M Half Marathon. The 3M Half is a fun and fast, stand-alone half marathon boasting one of the fastest 13.1-mile courses in the country. You’ll enjoy a point-to-point course with mostly downhill running, run past some of Austin’s finest hot spots, and finish downtown near the Texas State Capitol. Cross the finish line, grab your hefty one-of-a-kind “spinner” finisher medal, and celebrate at the energetic finish line festival, complete with a beer garden.
MLK Day Festival
Location: University of Texas

This year, participate in the Austin-area MLK Day celebrations with The Austin Area Heritage Council. Enjoy a rally and walk starting from the Martin Luther King Jr. statue on the University of Texas campus.

Fortlandia

Fortlandia is a collection of custom forts designed and built in the Mollie Steves Zachry Texas Arboretum. Plus, this year, there will be a bonus fort along the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail at Lady Bird Lake, presented in partnership with The Trail Foundation. These creative spaces will transport you to imaginary worlds and spark an appreciation for art and nature. Your secret hideout awaits!
