Moreland Celebrates The Holidays

The holiday season is in full swing, here are a few ways Moreland Properties has been celebrating the most wonderful time of the year.

 

Moreland had the privilege of hosting our Holiday Event at the iconic Austin eatery: Matt’s El Rancho. Matt’s has been drawing crowds with enchiladas & margaritas since 1952 and was the perfect place to celebrate. Guests had the chance to win a one-of-a-kind hat from the local custom hat boutique Maufrais. We also partnered with Victoria’s Visuals for guests to get live watercolor portraits painted. We want to express our gratitude for each and every one of our agents and clients. It’s been a pleasure servicing Austin and surrounding areas since 1986.

 

 

We’ve mentioned this event before, but Mozart’s annual light show is a tradition to look forward to every winter season. The awesome light displays — along with the hot chocolate and delicious warm treats — make this a holiday experience that the whole family enjoys. For those who may not know, our Lake Austin office is located directly next to Mozart’s, putting us right next to the action! On December 7th, Moreland staff and agents enjoyed the show with our family and friends.

 

 

Moreland's Owner/Chariman of the Board, Emily Moreland, proudly served on the Board of Directors of the Long Center for the Performing Arts from its inception until 2008. Today, she serves on the Advisory Committee for the Center and has a huge advocate for the performing arts in Austin. As past President and Chairman of the Board for Ballet Austin, Emily continues to serve on the Board of Directors for the ballet and encourages our agents to attend the annual showing of The Nutracker. Each year we look forward to the opportunity to attend this quintessential holiday performance.
