McKinney Falls State Park is a hidden gem located just 13 miles southeast of downtown Austin.The park's limestone formations and rolling hills provide a beautiful backdrop for bluebonnets, making for a truly picturesque scene. There are several trails throughout the park where you can view the flowers up close, including the Rock Shelter Trail and the Onion Creek Hike and Bike Trail.
