712 Harris Ave # 1

Welcome to 712 Harris Ave #1 -- a charming 1930s bungalow equipped with all of the modern amenities. Recent improvements include new appliances, HVAC, water heater, marble countertops, and a composition roof installed in 2020. Relish in the beauty of a home built in 1935 with all of the ease of contemporary living. And it's all within a short walk from the UT campus and a few minutes' drive to downtown Austin.

From the beautiful tile that decorates the covered front porch, step in to see built-in bookshelves that act as a natural divider between the living room and kitchen. The large, original windows allow for an abundance of natural light throughout the home as well.

You will notice that the walls, in many rooms, have been exposed to reveal their original ship-lap construction. The ship-lap in each of the bedrooms have been painted warm tones as well, adding a flourish of color; while the ceilings have been left as raw wood. These details add to the warmth and coziness of the space.

Outside, the large and fenced-in front yard features two pecan trees, rosemary, and white roses. The backyard is secluded within a tall, wooden privacy fence, and features two side yards that are perfect for outdoor dining, grilling, or even a shed.

Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to own a home in one of the most cherished and centrally located neighborhood's in Austin.
