About Doug Roberts

Doug is a very trusted and experienced leader in the Austin real estate community.  His mission is to provide his clients with an unsurpassed level of service as a listing broker and buyer’s agent.  A third generation Texan and real estate agent, Doug’s first job was working for his father’s commercial real estate brokerage during high school.  After years of
installing signs and running contracts, Doug advanced his real estate education by attending Texas A&M University in College Station, and working at the distinguished Texas Real Estate Research Center.  This early in life real estate experience proved to be a priceless foundation to build upon, as he grows his real estate practice within Moreland Properties.  As an industry expert, Doug leverages his top-notch connections of all kinds, to better serve his clients’ best interests.

Very few agents have his comprehensive knowledge of the most sought-after neighborhoods, architecture, construction, and the infinite number of details that make up a successful real estate transaction.  Doug operates under a commitment to the Moreland Properties standard of integrity, dependability, ethics, and a lifelong commitment to his clients.  As a licensed real estate agent since 1999, Doug has witnessed Austin explode into a global real estate market; but he has always remained committed to a small office, hands on approach to each transaction.  With over two decades at the premier brokerage in central Austin, Doug continues to serve his clients as a dependable partner through complicated transactions requiring a special level of expertise, patience, and commitment.

When Doug is not working on his real estate business, he enjoys living in Old West Austin with his wife and two sons.  His favorite pastimes are tennis, live music, and enjoying the Austin food scene.  Doug is committed to serving his clients and the community for many years to come.
