About Joe Sweeney

As a real estate agent since 2005, Joe Sweeney loves most of all becoming his clients’ “forever guy” for all things real estate related. He welcomes opportunities to work with buyers and sellers interested in Barton Creek, Lost Creek, Rollingwood, West Lake Hills, Lake Austin, Bee Cave, and Lakeway, securing relationships built on trust, transparency, and open communication. Joe thrives on helping others achieve their real estate goals and goes that extra mile to make the process fun, stress-free, and, of course, successful. He understands that buying or selling a house is so much more than simply a transaction—but a highly emotional and life-changing decision. And so, he ensures families have the information and support they need to proceed with confidence from showing, through closing and beyond! Joe was born and raised in Washington DC. His mom was a math teacher, and his dad was a realtor for 40 years. He earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and Supply Chain Management from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. Joe was one of only three interns ever for Michael Jordan at his Jump DC business and did a senior internship with Jordan Brand at Nike. But he found his true calling working alongside his father in Real Estate where he could help people while spending his time out and about rather than behind a desk all day. Today, Joe and his wife enjoy life in Barton Creek raising their daughter and son. They share their home with two spoiled Himalayan cats, Katherine and Lila. When not working, Joe loves playing golf at Barton Creek Country Club, skiing in Colorado, and training Jiu Jitsu at AMP in Westlake.
