About Trey McWhorter

Trey McWhorter is a long-time Austinite (originally from Houston), arriving in 1990 to attend the University of Texas, where his love for real estate started in an introduction to architecture class taught by Larry Speck. Today, he and his family (wife and two children) live in Highland Park West where he served as the President of the Neighborhood Association from 2010-2014. 

Leveraging his MBA and 16+yrs in the hi-tech industry, Trey combines his expertise in marketing, analysis and strategy with the extensive resources and network of Moreland Properties to ensure the best possible outcome for his clients. He is extremely knowledgeable about the Austin market, in particular Central and West Austin as well as Lake Austin.

When Trey is not with clients he is on the boat with his family, enjoying sports/outdoor exercise, photography (loves art and creative outlets), traveling to Canada to visit his wife’s family, volunteering with a variety of non-profits in Austin or reading!
