Before the sweltering Austin summer, it's the right time to get out and enjoy some of the best al fresco spots in the city. Here, we will highlight some of our favorite restaurants and food parks that offer outdoor dining in a beautiful setting. From Tex-Mex and Italian to sweets and street fare, there is something for everyone. So sit back, relax, and make a date to experience some of the most delicious eateries in town!
Arbor Food Park
1108 East 12th St
Cuantos Tacos, Burgerlicious and Doughboys are staples of this East Austin food truck hotspot. Twinkling cafe lights and picnic tables make this an ideal setting to grab some casual cuisine.
The Little Darlin
6507 Circle South Rd
Heading South? Thrillist calls The Little Darlin' "an inviting place to unwind after work or spend a lazy Sunday." Classic sammies, chicken fried steak, and even a cheese plate from local fave, Antonelli's, are served with Micheladas or Mimosa buckets in the sprawling outdoor space for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Hank's
5811 Berkman Dr
Located in Windsor Park, Hank's offers California-style comfort food with ample patio space. Proudly pup-friendly, they even boast #hankshounds on their IG account, and for their anniversary party, (May 7th | 4pm-7pm) they're hosting a dog parade, costume contest, photo booth, and even dog treats, which a portion of sales will go to a local animal rescue.
The Honey Moon Spirit Lounge
624 West 34th St
Antique chandeliers and parisian bistro seating provide a dreamy atmosphere for dinner and cocktails or a boozy brunch. The caviar service and duck confit pique our interest, but frankly, you had us at Honey Moon Biscuits.
Olive & June
3411 Glenview Ave
Delicious Italian food is served in 3 stories of this Bryker Woods standard, but we recommend their beautiful patio shaded by an exquiste, ancient Oak.
Perla's
1400 South Congress Ave
If you're looking for some good seafood, we recommend Perla's. (Yes, still.) This Bouldin Creek spot offers some of the freshest seafood in town, and their outdoor patio is just perfect for a spring night out. Oysters and champagne? Yes, please.
Loro
2115 South Lamar Blvd
The covered patio of this South Austin, Asian smokehouse features communal tables, fans, and pretty hanging lanterns. Aaron Franklin, of Franklin Barbecue and Tyson Cole, of Uchi, merged their two loves of Asian and Texas cuisine together to create a staple that Austinites are proud to claim.
