Austin Market Report: December 2019

Austin closed out 2019 with $13 billion in home sales, according to the Austin Board of Realtors’ December 2019 Central Texas Housing Report. Since 2010, single-family home sales have increased by 84% — A noteworthy number that leads economists to believe that Austin will be the hottest housing market in 2020.

Central Texas’ realtors have sold more homes in 2019 than any other year, making Austin one of the only United States metro areas to completely recover to pre-recession values in the last decade.
