ZACH Theatre presents Into the Woods

Composer Stephen Sondheim’s fairytale masterpiece will play outdoors in a contemporary, reimagined interpretation. The musical will surround the audience, using ZACH’s architecture and natural environment in surprising ways.
Austin Food + Wine Festival
Location: Various Locations
Dates: 11/5 - 11/7
All weekend long, enjoy signature bites prepared by renowned chefs and top-rated restaurants from Central Texas and across the country. Along the way, sample sips from an array of wine, beer, and spirits exhibitors and other artisanal purveyors.
Austin Studio Tour
Location: Zilker Park
Dates: 11/6 - 11/21
The Austin Studio Tour is a free, self-guided art event that combines the West Austin Studio Tour (WEST) and East Austin Studio Tour (EAST). This event provides opportunities for artists all over Austin to connect, and for the public to safely experience art both in person and virtually.
Blue Genie Art Bazaar
Location: Blue Genie
Dates: 11/19 - 12/24
The Blue Genie Art Bazaar is a local pop-up holiday shop of artists from all around Texas. The Bazaar features the handmade, unique work of over 200 artists, whom they select from a talented pool of more than 400 applicants each year. This is perfect holiday shopping for those who are on the more creative side.
Thundercloud Subs Annual Turkey Trot
Location: Virtual / The Long Center
Date: 11/25
The ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot, one of Austin’s most beloved Thanksgiving traditions, started in 1991 with just a handful of volunteers and 600 participants. Today it has grown to be the most extensive 5-mile run in Texas, with more than 700 volunteers and over 20,000 participants from all over the U.S. and beyond.
Austin Area Jazz Festival

The Austin Area Jazz Festival (AAJF) is an annual event that shows the importance of art, love for the Austin area, the impact of diverse cultures, and of course, the best in smooth jazz. AAJF brings together legendary national acts with talented up-and-coming musicians. The result is always a great show and a musical experience that is second to none!
Trail of Lights
Location: Zilker Park
Dates: Starts 11/27
Hosted by the Trail of Lights Foundation, the annual event in Zilker Park celebrates the unique spirit and people that make Austin the place we love to call home. The 57th annual Austin Trail of Lights will return to the city's iconic Zilker Park in 2021 as a drive-thru event. The most beloved and longest-running holiday tradition welcomes hundreds of thousands of guests from Central Texas and worldwide each year for its jubilant light displays.
