Austin Film Festival furthers the art and craft of storytelling by inspiring and championing writers, filmmakers, and all artists who use visual language to tell a story.
Museum of Ice Cream
Location: Museum Of Ice Cream
Dates: Throughout the month
The Museum of Ice Cream will feature 12 reimagined and never-before-seen installations dedicated to the celebration of ice cream.
Austin City Limits
Location: Zilker Park
Dates: 10/1 - 10/3 Weekend 1 & 10/8- 10/10 Weekend 2
ACL festival features a diverse lineup of acts every year with 8 stages and 100+ performances over two weekends.
You can still find tickets for sale through third-party retailers despite technically being “sold out.”
Levitation
Location: Downtown Austin
Dates: 10/28-10/31
This small festival has grown from being a word-of-mouth psychedelic rock show to an Austin staple. The event is now a three-day experience that brings bands and fans together from all over the world. Three-day passes are sold out, but single-day tickets are still available at the link below.
ZACH Theatre presents Into the Woods
Location: Zach Theatre
Dates: Throughout the month
Composer, Stephen Sondheim’s fairytale masterpiece, Into The Woods, will play outdoors in a contemporary, reimagined interpretation. The musical will surround the audience, using ZACH’s architecture and natural environment in surprising ways.
