WORLD TRAVELS LED BACK TO AUSTIN

A fifth-generation Texan, Wende graduated from the University of Texas in Austin but spent college summers based in Germany and working abroad. Her first career was as an international model featured in German Marie Claire and Vogue among other publications, allowing her to travel and explore new cultures for over 20 years. These experiences gave her a worldly perspective, but also a deep appreciation for the friendliness and creativity of her college town and the Lonestar State. Drawn back to build a life here in Austin, Wende decided to pursue a career in real estate to help others create roots in this city she loves.

She quickly became a trusted partner to her clients and continued to pursue her education, advancing from real estate Agent to Broker Associate to expand the knowledge and expertise she brings to each opportunity. Joining Moreland Properties in 2008, she enjoys the backing of one of the most well-respected firms in Austin as well as the global reach of Forbes International Real Estate membership. A Bouldin Creek resident since 2003, Wende is a Central Austin expert including the famous Keep Austin Weird zip code of 78704, plus Downtown, Clarksville, Pemberton, Tarrytown and Westlake. Her extensive network also allows her to serve her clients anywhere in the Austin Metro area, from the Highland Lakes to Hill Country ranches. In fact, she has the honor of making the highest-dollar public sale on Lake Travis in 2023. And in addition to expertise in single-family transactions, Wende has also guided several condo projects from conception to closing.

GIVING IT HER ALL

When not giving it her all for her clients you can find Wende giving it her all in any outdoors activity. After running the Boston and New York marathons she soon escalated to a full Ironman and is currently tackling ultramarathons and other high endurance adventure sports, recently conquering the Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim, a 100-mile run across the Philippines and a 50-miler through the mountains in Patagonia (twice!). She also spends her time playing with her rescue dog Lalo on the Hike and Bike Trail, trying out new restaurants around town and planning her next far-flung expedition with her significant other, a military veteran. Wende embodies Austin; savvy, adventurous and spirited mixed with the down-to-earth charm that reflects the city we love.
